As a Senior HVAC service technician, you'll take the lead on residential service calls, working on a wide range of systems while mentoring a helper technician on most jobs.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing forced air furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, ductwork, and boilers
• Brazing, charging, and wiring HVAC systems to code and manufacturer specifications
• Communicating clearly with clients in their homes and maintaining a professional presence
• Ensuring jobs are completed safely, on time, and up to Metro's high standards
• Using an iPad and iPhone to access customer details, job history, and routing via our dispatch system
• Following all local codes and safety protocols on every install
• Representing the company with integrity and quality workmanship at every turn

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a Lead service technician in residential HVAC
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, brazing, electrical, and refrigerant charging
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lead and train a helper tech
• Comfortable using mobile technology for dispatch and job tracking
• EPA certification and NATE certification (preferred, but not required)
• Pride in your work and commitment to doing it right the first time

• Competitive hourly rate at $30 to $40, based on experience.
