What You'll Be Doing

As a Residential HVAC Installer, you'll take the lead on service calls, working on a wide range of systems while mentoring a helper on most jobs.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Servicing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, ductwork, and boilers
• Brazing, charging, and wiring systems to code and manufacturer specs
• Communicating clearly with homeowners and maintaining a professional presence
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to Metro's high standards
• Using an iPad and iPhone to access customer/job info through our dispatch system
• Following all local codes and safety protocols
• Representing the company with quality, integrity, and pride

What We're Looking For

• 4-6 years of experience as a lead residential service tech
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, brazing, electrical, refrigerant charging, and ductwork
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Able to lead and train a helper technician
• Comfortable using mobile tech for dispatch and job tracking
• EPA and NATE certifications preferred (not required)
• Pride in your work and a commitment to doing things right the first time

Pay & Benefits

• Full-time, year-round position (no seasonal layoffs)
• $30 - $40/hr, depending on experience
